The best way to get to know us is to simply show up. Some of the best times to come by for a first visit are Sunday mornings and Wednesday dinner (see Meeting Times for more detail). We are super casual and used to new people. You're also welcome to check out any of our other meeting times. Let us know if you have specific questions or interests.
We depend on individuals, families, church groups and businesses to donate various resources and/or the funds to purchase them. Consistently needed items include: travel-size hygiene, bus tickets, medical funds, work specific clothing items, etc. Contact us and check our Facebook page for the most current needs. Visit our How to Give page for details on making a donation.
Come teach us to paint, play music, fill out an application, learn to read and write, teach CPR, etc. and share your particular skills and interests. If you have time and would like to bless the inner city community in this way please contact us.
Because we are community and relationship centered, we do not have a lot of typical volunteer opportunities to serve. We do, however, occasionally have service project opportunities. Please contact us if you, your church, youth group, etc. are looking for a way to serve.
Not everyone will join in directly with the work in the inner city. Wherever you are, we still need your voice! We believe God has called us to raise awareness and educate others. Our Carpenter's 101 class is one significant way try to do this. If you haven't attended one yet, sign up HERE and become an advocate for the poor in our city!
